How to Enable Navigation Buttons on Chromebook Tablet Mode

Your Google Chromebook can display Android-like back and launcher buttons in tablet mode. Here is how to enable them.

To enable navigation buttons on your Chromebook:

From the launcher, open the Settings app.
From the left pane, select Accessibility.
Select Cursor and touchpad.
Click and enable the Show navigation buttons in tablet mode toggle.

My settings menu did NOT have the “show navigation buttons” option.
Acer 15 [CB515-1HT-C2AE] mfg. date 05/10/2018. [It’s an oldie, but goodie.}
