Your Google Chromebook can display Android-like back and launcher buttons in tablet mode. Here is how to enable them.

Show Back and Launcher Icons on a Chromebook

To enable navigation buttons on your Chromebook:

  1. From the launcher, open the Settings app.Chromebook Settings App in Menu
  2. From the left pane, select Accessibility.Chromebook Accessibility Settings
  3. Select Cursor and touchpad.Cusrsor and Touchpad Settings - Chromebook
  4. Click and enable the Show navigation buttons in tablet mode toggle.Navigation Buttons on Chromebook

    My settings menu did NOT have the “show navigation buttons” option.
    Acer 15 [CB515-1HT-C2AE] mfg. date 05/10/2018. [It’s an oldie, but goodie.}
    Chrome OS 106.0
