How to Change Google Background

You can change your Google background to any picture you like. This article explains how to customize Chrome and change the background image.

Change Google Background in Chrome

You can either pick one of the beautiful pictures the Google Chrome team provides or upload your own wallpaper.

To change Chrome wallpaper:

1. Open a new tab and click Customize Chrome at the bottom-right corner.
2. On the Background tab, select a category of images.
3. Select an image.
4. Click Done.

Change Wallpaper Daily

You can pick a category and then let Chrome change the wallpaper on the new tab page for you every day.

Turn the Refresh daily toggle on to change images daily.

Upload Your Own Picture as Background

To set your own custom wallpaper on Google Chrome’s new tab page:

1. Open a new tab and click Customize Chrome at the bottom-right corner.
2. On the Background tab, select Upload from device.
3. Browse and select your image, and you are done.
