How to Manually Set Date and Time On Your Chromebook

May 8, 2014 by Dinsan Francis Updated on December 17, 2015 2 Comments

Looking for a way to manually set date and time on your Chromebook? Now you can! This feature (hmm, feature or basic necessity) is now available on Chrome OS (development channel only for now).

Till now, Chrome OS allowed only setting of a timezone. Time and date were automatically pulled from the internet based on the selection. Here is how it used to look like:

Now, Chrome OS allows you to change the date and time manually. Go to settings and search for time or date and you should be able to do it.
