Google Chrome saves your search keywords to help you save time. The next time you start typing the same keyword, Chrome will fill it for you.

What if you want to remove those keywords from the search bar?

Let me show you how to remove those search keywords from Chrome’s address bar. Chrome saves these keywords on your Google account. We can delete it from the My Activity dashboard.

  1. Open a new tab and go to https://myactivity.google.com/myactivity
  2. Log into your Google account if asked.
  3. Select the filter icon.Filter icon for search activity
  4. From the list of Google products, select Search. On the same screen, select the date range as well.
