Last Updated on:

Chrome updates itself automatically. It also keeps extensions and apps updated without any effort from the user. However, what if you want to update Chrome extensions manually? In this article, I will show you how to update your Chrome extensions.

Chrome Extensions – Manual Update

To update Chrome extensions:

  1. Open a new tab and go to chrome://extensions.Google Chrome Extensions Page
  2. Switch on the Developer mode toggle.Extensions Developer Mode Toggle
  3. When developer mode is enabled, you will see additional options on the page. Click Update.Update Extensions

Google Chrome will now download and install the latest version of Google Chrome extensions. When the process is complete you will briefly see an Updated message on the bottom-left corner of the page.

    very good.
    I don’t like automation.
If I want things done, I like to do them myself.

So how do I prevent the extensions from being updated automatically??

    best regards
