Stylus battery level
If you have a Chromebook with a stylus, there is some good news coming your way. This will be similar to the Bluetooth battery level that we recently saw.
Your Chromebook could soon show stylus battery level, if you have one connected.
We do not have many details at the moment on what type of stylus will be supported etc. We should soon see such details as this feature lands in the Canary channel of CHrome OS.
Here is what I have so far. A new flag was added to Chromium OS code yesterday:
Show stylus battery stylus in the stylus tools menu: Enables viewing the current stylus battery level in the stylus tools menu.
The feature bug associated with this change is not public. The only additional detail I could find was that the flag has an expiary milestone set to version 91 of Chrome OS. That means we should ideally see this working on or before version 91.
Do you have a Chromebook with stylus? Do you use it much? Let me know in the comments section.
