Chrome Redesigns How Tab Groups Look, Now Features Borders

Google has been testing tab groups for a while now. The last time I tried it, I didn’t quite like how it looked like. Google has since changed the design and I can now say that I like the way it looks.

Here is the old look:

Now, here is how this UI looks like in the latest version of Canary:

You can see that the colors are more subtle now. Instead of coloring the whole tab, Chrome now underlines the of each tab to show a group. The current tab that you are on will have a border instead of just an underline.

The tab groups UI now looks much better and cleaner. Kudos to whoever came up with this idea at Google.
