The systems menu, or tray that comes up when you click your profile icon in the bottom right corner of your Chromebook screen, has a new look. A new Androidfied look that is.

Now, here is a screenshot of Android P Quick Settings menu; courtesy of The Verge:
Do you see the similarity there? The Quick Settings panel shows up when you scroll down on the notification tray on Android.
The new design is currently available behind the flag #enable-system-tray-unified. Enable this flag and restart your Chromebook and you should see this new design. The flag is available in Canary channel at the moment.
I am sure the next thing that we are going to see is the redesign of the Chrome OS Settings app to match Android P's new colorful design.
New Android and Android-like features on Chrome OS no longer surprise us. We simply nod and look for the next spot where they made Chrome OS look or work like Android.
I'm off to dig more deeper!
Let me see…………..Chromebook and Android P……….hmmmm. The acronym eventually, for simplicity’s sake, settles into CP. Hmmmmmm………….reverse it and you get PC! My God!! Microsoft has hijacked Google and is on it’s way to turning Chromebooks into Windows!!! Dinsan, you have to stop this before we are all on Surface tablets!
ROFL!!!!
