Here is an upcoming Google Chrome feature that you will appreciate. Soon, you will be able to use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + A to select items on Chrome’s history page. You can then easily delete multiple items at once.
Here is the commit log:
Support ctrl+a at chrome://history
This shorcut will select or unselet all items.
Fortunately, the bug is not private. Here are some more details from the bug:
What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1) Go to chrome://history
(2) Search for something or click “More from this site” in the context menu of an entry
(3) Press ctrl+a
What is the expected result?
All entries should be selected
What happens instead?
Ctrl+a is not handled explicitly, some text on the history page is selected.
Selecting all entries is quite complicated (select first, shift+click last)
Once added, this feature should give you a bit more flexibility in handling your browser history. I am hoping to see this feature being added to chrome://flags page soon. I will keep you posted, as usual.
