Google recently added split screen support to Chrome OS. At the time of launch, this was available only for Chrome OS apps and web pages. A code change in the Chromium OS repository suggests that split-screen support is coming to Android apps as well.

Arc side change:
The bug associated with this change is private, so no luck with screenshots or video demos. Those links to the Android side of code changes is also Google-corporate-only. So, all we have is these code changes on the Chromium side.
From the way it looks, this change is in its early stages. It might take weeks before we even see an experimental flag being added to chrome://flags. I’ll keep an eye out for this and let you all know when this feature lands!
