There is a new Chrome extension that helps you rearrange the position of the tabs in a window by moving them around just by using keyboard shortcuts. It helps you move regular, pinned and multiple highlighted tabs around in a window. You can ease your job by moving multiple tabs all at one go.
It works like this: Press Shift+Alt+Left on Windows to move a tab to its left and Shift+Alt+Right to move it to its right. You can also customize your keyboard shortcut by following these steps:
1. Open your extensions page
2. Scroll to the bottom and click on Keyboard Shortcuts
3. Under the Rearrange Tabs section, you can configure shortcuts the way you want them to be
It is expected to add more interesting features like duplicating current tab to a new window and separating active tab out from the current window into a new window using keyboard shortcuts. Have a look at the extension!
