There is a new browser in the town and it looks promising. I am looking forward to trying out Microsoft Edge. But here is an interesting piece of news for Chrome fans. The Verge reports that Microsoft Edge will support Chrome and Firefox extensions.
Microsoft’s own Joe Belfiore just unveiled the company’s successor to Internet Explorer, Microsoft Edge, and he showed how the browser is another extension of Redmond’s cross-platform ambitions. Similar to how Windows 10 supports code from Android and iOS, Edge supports browser extensions from Chrome and Firefox.
There are not much details available on how this will work, but stay tuned, I already have Windows 10 installed and as soon as I get my hands on Edge, (assuming that this extension support will be there on launch) I will test this out!
