How to Disable Chrome’s New User Menu

Google Chrome’s new User Menu is now available on the stable version of the browser. And that means, it’s everywhere! If you are among those who use just one profile and do not really need that profile switcher menu up there, here is how you can disable it.

  1. Type in chrome://flags into the URL bar
  2. Search the page for “Enable new profile management system”
  3. Change the drop-down menu to “Disabled”
  4. Restart Chrome

If you want it back, do the same procedure, and change the the drop-down to “Enabled. Happy browsing!
