Here is some fun news for Chromebook owners. The last Dev channel update added a touch of fun to the on-screen keyboard on Chrome OS. Emoji support.
We now have access to the full emoji palette directly from the on-screen keyboard in Chrome OS Dev channel. “Enable the “on-screen keyboard” in the Chrome OS Settings, and, select the emoji palette on the on-screen keyboard.
Just like we have seen on other applications and operating systems, emojis are neatly categorized. I may not use the on-screen on a regular Chromebook, and I have emojis built into the Hangouts app, so this is going to be just a fancy thing for me now. May be if I buy a touchscreen Chromebook and actually use the touchscreen, may be I will.
What about you?
