Chrome’s Malware Warning Page Gets a New Design with Lots of Red Ink

Google has tweaked Chrome’s malware warning screen a couple of times in the past. Here is the latest iteration of the malware page, with lots of red.

François Beaufort reports:

The chromium security team is currently experimenting with new interstitial pages in Chrome Canary to help users to make better decisions when it comes to malware, phishing, and TLS/SSL warnings.

You can play with those and get a sense of where this heading by toggling the flags chrome://flags/#ssl-interstitial-version and chrome://flags/#malware-interstitial-version and going respectively tohttps://pinningtest.appspot.com and http://malware.testing.google.test/testing/malware/

The new design has lighter red and easy on our eyes. What do you think?
