Is This a Better Position For The Chrome OS Apps Menu?

The Chrome OS team is considering a position change for the apps menu. In fact, this is actually available behind a flag now, you turn it on, restart your Chromebook, and you get this:

If you want to try this now, enable this flag: chrome://flags/#enable-experimental-app-list-position

Now, to answer my own question, I think this is a better position for the Chrome OS apps menu. Especially when you use the Search key to open up the menu.

I am using this right now and it makes a lot more sense to have the menu in the prime spot, right in the middle, similar to  other operating systems we use.

If you open the apps menu by clicking the icon on the bottom left corner, this will create an additional scrolling towards the center of the screen to select an app.

My suggestion is that you start using the Search key more often!
