Google Releases Chrome Remote Desktop App for Android as Invite Only Beta

Last week I told you that Google is preparing Chrome Remote Desktop  Android App for Google Play Store release. That just happened. Google has started an invite only beta release of the remote desktop app.

The beta is invite only at this time, with invites rolling out to those who “expressed interest” in helping Chrome improve their remote desktop client.

The app allows you to connect to your computers from an Android phone or tablet. Yes, this is Android only for now. If you want to know how the apps works, here is a walkthrough I did few months ago.

For now, a few official screenshots from the Google Play Store:

If you are among the lucky few who got to try out this beta release, well, congratulations! For others, this is a good sign. We are almost there.
