Google Chrome’s Navigation Error Pages Gets Redesigned

I did some design changes on Chrome Story the other day. And today, we have some news on the new coat of paint on Google Chrome’s navigation error pages. We are talking about error pages that you get when you type a wrong address in the sidebar or try to navigate to a website that does not exist and the like.

The newly designed pages look a more “to the point” and easily and pleasingly communicates the message. If you have been watching the new design trend in the entire Google ecosystem, you will find this familiar. The new pages are better from a usability standpoint too.

Assuming that you guys have an idea of how the old pages looked like, here is a couple of screenshots with new designs. If you guys want a side-by-side comparison of the previous look, take a look at this Google Operating System article.

I really like where this is going.
