Concept: Google Chrome on Windows Phone

This indeed is coming. I am sure. But for now, lets enjoy some concept/mockups

Chrome on Windows Phone

These concept design images are from Yanko Andreev of 1800PocketPC. “This is my concept for alternative browser for Windows Phone. Currently The Windows Phone Software Development Kit (SDK) does not allow sufficient access to the lower level code required to create their own browsers, while in the next version it may well be possible. This will allow third party developers to port and develop apps (such as browsers) to Windows Phone much easier” he writes.

This mockup is a result of good research for sure. Here is an example “One of the basic metro (Modern UI) ideas is about the interface and the content. When you open the site you see only the content. Tabs are hidden when scrolling down. To show them back, just slide the screen up. There is option to stay always on too.”

One thing is sure. Google will definitely push a Chrome app for Windows phones. That’ll be another day for us to celebrate dear Chrome fans! Be sure to check out the entire set here.

Dinsan made Google Chrome his default browser within hours of its release. He fell in love with Chromebooks from the day he first touched one and is currently obsessed with Chromecasts.

“sure”? How? how can you guarantee something like that?
With its current market share, I would not be so sure.

      welcome back.

I am sure that Google won’t leave any important platform behind. That’s just my confidence.

WP8 is not an important platform “yet”.
If WP take some marketshare, yes sure Google will make an app. Until that, it will never happen.
