Your Google Web History and Chrome History Will Merge Soon!

Yet another plus one for “Google Chrome Sync”. Why am I talking about Chrome Sync now? I will tell you.

Yes, Google Web History is going to be integrated with Chrome history. The end result of this is nothing to do with Google Web History, it is just that Google used an existing service to make things easier. The real change with this integration is this, your browsing history is going to cloud!

Chrome History In Cloud

The change landed on Chromium few hours back (thanks my friend of send it to me!) and here is the comment on this code change

“WIP for integration between Chrome and Google Web History.”

I downloaded the latest build but couldn’t find any visible sign of this change, but I’ll keep an eye on this feature for you all.

Everything is going to cloud through Chrome Sync. Next thing I want there is the visited links history. I do not know if there is already a way to do this, guys, do let me know if you know about any extension that can do this job.

It did not land on Chromium, it is only up for preliminary review and like it says, this patch is a work in progress (“WIP”).

I want my cookies in the cloud! It would be nice to not have to re-login to a service I just used on another device with Chrome.

(My comment seems to have been removed, or not accepted, or something)
This change has not landed on Chromium, it is a change list that is part of a work in progress (WIP), as stated in the description of the change list.
