Official Google +1 Button Extension for Chrome

Google+1 is everywhere, officially. Google has published their official +1 button extension for Chrome. +1 button is shorthand for “this is pretty cool” or “you should check this out.” Now you can +1 the pages you think are worth visiting no matter where you are on the web.”, says Google.

This extension will place a button on the top right corner of your browser from where you can +1 any page you are visiting. If you have already +1ed it, it will show that as well. When you open a web page, it will show you the number of +1s it has received so far.

Here is a note to the privacy conscious minds “ In addition to the practices described in the Google +1 Button Privacy Policy, by installing this extension, all of the pages and URLs you visit will be sent to Google in order to retrieve +1 information. Examples of this information include whether you’ve previously +1’d the page and how many people have already +1’d the page. Google’s use of this information is described further in the following help center article (”

So, looks like this extension is going to follow your wherever you go on the interwebs! Is this a concern for you? see you in comments!

Install This Extension from Here. and don’t forget to give a +1 to my blog! 🙂

A shame it doesn’t include Share With Google+ functionality.
