Yes, I think I have used the correct word, “SEXY” … you will know when you look at screenshots. You can’t ignore these screenshots from the dev version that I am using, and mind you, this is the best part of using google chrome dev version, I can show you the latest, with screenshots, even before they are ready, for the rest of the world, you are lucky !! Â ( If you want to see more posts like this, simply subscribe to RSS or via email. )
When Google chrome was introduced few months back, people didn’t quite like the new tab pages showing most visited websites. There was no option to edit thumbnails displayed there. Then they introduced thumbnails editing and removing … now, the new tab page has become sexy, you will no longer want to remove that.
You can
- Hide Thumbnails
- Show them as a list instead of thumbnails
- Hide Recent Activities ( tabs you closed recently, your last session )
- Hide Recommendations
- Drag and Drop thumnails and re order them the way you want !
Now, that’s more freedom, isn’t it ? Apart from making the new tab pages more user friendly and useful, the looks have improved a lot, and now looks really soft on eyes. I really love to see if this has happened on linux version too, but unfortunately, my linux laptop died recently, and I should take it to the service center, and once that’s back, I will have news for Linux people also.
So, now to the screenshots gallery ….. click on thumbnails to zoom in

Okay, I had promised you that I will let you all know about a feature thatI noticed on the Development version that I am running on my laptop. Here it is … Â hopefully with next update, you will be able to reopen tabs from your last browsing session when you open Google Chrome window.
Update : We have discovered and organized the best Google Chrome Tips Here. Read this and Be a Power User – Impress your friends !
This is not a prediction or rumor, but something  that I am using right now on this dev version of Google Chrome. If  I close my Chrome window, with few tabs open, and then open Chrome again, I get something like this, shown on the screenshot below.

I can click and open all those tabs from my last browsing session, and that is really helpful. Especially because of another feature missing on Google Chrome : It won’t warn you when you close multiple tabs. So, you accidentally close 10 tabs because you got no warning, re open the window, and you get this cool feature to open all those tabs again.
This is to open all the tabs together. If you like to open only the last tab you closed, use CTRL + SHIFT + TÂ keyboard short cut.
