general Google, We Need More Control on Managing Browsing History !

Dear Google, you are concentrating too much on “Search” based functionalities on all your products,  and most of them are awesome !but  here is something you forgot while working on “Search” on Chrome.

If you go to “History” page for your Chrome browser, there only two ways to browse history, the “newer” and “older” links, taking us to the next and previous pages, and then the search option for history. But, what if we want to to go history of a specific date ?

What if I want to limit the number of days of history saved on my browser ? There is no option to manage this too ! If you browse through the Google Chrome Help Forum, there are many people asking this question !  Don’t you think its a good option that we are missing here ?

So, Dear Google, Please give us more control over the browsing history !

I am passionate about Google Chrome, and that’s why I started this blog. I was very much passionate about Google Android, because I thought it will become an operating system for netbooks and laptops very soon. I used to imagine how it will be, when Google releases an operating system.

Now, the story of Google Chrome has a twist. It’s going to become an operating system. It’s not Android that will see being developed as an OS for netbooks and laptops, but that’s ok, we will  still get an operating system from Google.

What is Google Chrome OS

I know that you have already read enough about google chrome operating system from various sources. Still, this post won’t be complete without mentioning what it is.

Google Chrome OS is an open source, lightweight operating system that will initially be targeted at netbooks. Later this year we will open-source its code, and netbooks running Google Chrome OS will be available for consumers in the second half of 2010. Because we’re already talking to partners about the project, and we’ll soon be working with the open source community, we wanted to share our vision now so everyone understands what we are trying to achieve.

That’s from the Official Google Blog.

Vow, it’s linux based, and I am linux fan too, okay, so I love linux, I love chrome, and I love the fact that google is building an operating system .. all this love with be expressed through chromestory.com in coming days. You will see news, and updates about the new OS, yes, chromestory.com is not just about the browser anymore …. it will be about the new operating system, news tips, and whole lot of information. And the forum ? It will be developed as Google OS Help Forum.

The Door of secrets is open … it’s time to explore more !!

This feature has been added

Sorry guys, but there is a long list of missing features in Google Chrome and that is the main reason for people not using Google Chrome as their Primary browser.

Whenever I browse the Google Chrome Help forum, I find more and more feature requests. These requests are more in number than actual issues reported there, sometimes I feel that way. This is not something really bad, this happens because people really want to use Google Chrome. They are ready to use it, and they demand more because they feel they “need” it.

A popular demand about Google Chrome :  Ability to disable images on a website, or loading webpages without images to save bandwidth. It should not take much of work to enable this feature. But, we are yet to see this feature on Google Chrome.

How will you know if this feature has been added or not ? Subscribe to our RSS feed, and get regular updates about Google chrome ! Don’t miss a thing.

Missing Features : Clearing Cache on Exit, and Print Preview

I was browsing the Google Chrome Help Forum, and found two important threads, where users were demanding two features. They were two important features, which we do not have on Google Chrome yet. 1. Clearing Cache on Exit. We want to be safe, wherever we are. Internet is no different. We want our browsing experience [...]
