Since I cannot meet you personally and invite you, please accept this invitation… of something similar.

Well, I am going to make a request of that kind, but not about marriage.

Since I do not know your Google Plus IDs to add you to my circle, please consider this as my personal invitation to join my circle in Google Plus <img src='http://www.chromestory.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt="the blog Using Google Plus And Chrome?
I would like to meet you all, connect with you and interact more. You guys can send me your feedback, news pieces, extensions and themes you like or even a “hi”

I use Google Plus more these days, than twitter or Facebook. Actually, I use Twitter very rarely now, only when I need to look up something!

It’s going to be real fun! I usually share Google Chrome related stuff, and other interesting stuff I find on Google Plus. You can add my blog here and add my personal profile here.

ps: don’t forget to give a plus on there!

See you on Google Plus!

Faster Page Loading and Java

I have experienced this difference ever since I started using Google Chrome, and it got better day by day. For me, this is the fastest application on my desktop, which starts within a second when Clicked. And on Java script processing, this version is 150% better than the very first release of Google Chrome. Speed really matters when you are online, so you can’t ignore Google Chrome’s achievement here. Kudos !

Sexy New Tab Pages.

You know what’s the best thing about Google Chrome that I love ? Its this : When Google Chrome first came out, most of the complaints and criticisms I heard was about the new tab page, showing the most visited websites to everyone, no option to re order or remove something from there etc. Now, this very new tab page is the most appreciated feature of Google Chrome.

Why ? Some serious work has gone in to the design and abilities of this page. Now you can remove websites from this page, re order, make them a list, and more. Read all about it here, my old post here.

Themes !!

Yes, themes are now available for all Google Chrome users. If you are looking for a change, try them !. Â It’s really easy to change the theme here. Go to the Theme Gallery, and click on “apply theme” link next to the theme of your choice, and you are done ! You can always go back to the default theme if you want to.

HTML5 capabilities

HTML 5 is being added to Chrome with this release. In Google’s Words,

We’re very excited about HTML5 becoming standard in modern browsers, and continued to add HTML5 capabilities to this stable release. We’re particularly excited about the <video> tag in HTML5, which makes embedding videos in a page as simple as embedding regular images. The <video> tag also allows video playback without a plug-in

So, here is what you should do now, share this information with your non-chroming friend, and make them use Google chrome

A few facts about Chrome Extensions, as seen on the web and Google websites.

Extensions will stick to the minimal nature of Chrome browser itself.

Extensions will appear on the bottom of the browser.

Google will manage all extensions

Extensions will run as separate processes ( like tabs, and you will see them on chrome task manager)

Just like the browser, extensions also will be updated without the user even knowing about it.

No need to restart the browser after you install an extension

There will be a new extensions gallery set up for Chrome

extensions are collections of web pages that use HTML, JavaScript, CSS, so they’re not difficult to write

Chromestory.com and Extensions

I will take few extensions and play wit them using my dev version, and will give you more information about them, before they are officially announced. Also, you will get to see news and tips and more about Chrome Extensions on Chromestory.com in coming days. So, Stay tuned ! Subscribe today !!

If you do not know it yet, Google Chrome is a Web Browser developed by the team at Google. It is based on the Chromium open source browser project. At present, Google has only the windows version of Chrome released and they are working on the Mac and Linux versions of it.

I use browsers all the time, like everyone else and I use many of them and that made me compare Google Chrome with other browsers. This blog, is the result of that observation that I have been doing , experiments, and researches I did about Google Chrome, while trying to know more about it.

Â

Right now, I use Google Chrome for all my personal browsing, ( for work, I still use Firefox because of various addon features that makes my work easy, and addons are not yet added to Google Chrome ). Why ? How ? I will answer these questions here.

If you are new to Google Chrome, Subscribe to this blog, and I will help you learn the secrets of Google Chrome and help you make the best out of it. If you are already using Google Chrome, let us dig deep inside it and figure out better ways of browsing with Google chrome and share it with others.
