They must be celebrating at the Plex now. Statcounter released their report for last month and for the first time Chrome overtook Fireofox to become the second popular browser world wide.
Chrome is the new 25%.
To all those who work to make Chrome great, congratulations, and aim for Internet Explorer now!!!!
During November, Chrome accounted for 25.7 percent of the global usage, slightly higher than the 25.2 percent that Firefox pulled down this month.
Will This Help Chromebooks?
The growth of Chrome as a browser, will it help Google sell more Chromebooks? The main reason they retained the same UI and features on Chrome OS was to attain almost zero learning time for anyone who wants to use a Chromebook. Anyone who ever used the Chrome browser must be able to use Chromebooks without spending even a minute to figure out how to.
So, more people who knows how to use Chrome means more people who can use Chromebooks or may even like Chromebooks.
Indians and Bollywood movie lover will need no introduction about this one; but for others, Ra.One is a Bollywood (in Hindi language) movie released in India last week.
It is a dream project of Indian superstar Sharukh Khan. He hopes to make a real Indian superhero with this movie. Sharukh has used Google Plus Hangouts and other Google services to promote this movie and the latest, a Game for Chrome Web Store called Ra. One Genesis.
Ra.One | Genesis is a free to play top down 3D arcade action game, available for Smartphones & Online. You play as the mighty superhero ‘G.One’ who will stand to defend our world, against the wrath of a surreal creation codename ‘Ra.One’ and his minions, who are all set to bring chaos and destruction.
ps: Akon sings a Hindi song for this movie. Check it out here.

This must be crazy
Chromium OS, Ubuntu, Android 2.3 and another flavour of Linux by alwaysinnovating.com is being demoed to us in these two videos, running more than one operating system at the same time.
By just pressing the magic AI button, you get a simple menu, letting you literally switch between several OS running at the same time on the same machine on a single processor. Instant-play, you can take the most of each OS, which means in our case: our AIOS, Android, Ubuntu, and ChromiumOS. Best of all, you can share your documents between those side-by-side instances
Everything is opensource and that’s really cool. For anyone interested in checking this out, here is the link.
