Here is one more Chromebook board (experimental hardware which may or may not become an actual Chromebook) to add to the growing list of Chromebook wannabes.
A few weeks back I had reported that Google is Testing “Slippy”, An Intel Haswell Processor Based Chromebook. The newly added Leon board is also based on the Slippy board. “First release leon which based on slippy.” the commit message says.
I do not have much detailed information on the board, but here is couple of things that I am pretty sure about. Leon uses Haswell processor, the newest from Intel. It also has two USB ports and back-light keyboard.
If you are someone good at reading hardware component related code, here is something interesting for you.

More Chromebook Boards
François Beaufort shared a couple of new Chromebook boards last week.
Nyan: “Despite the fact it seems to be related to NVIDIA’s new Tegra 114 SoC, we don’t know much yet about this exciting new ARM board”
Kirby: Don’t know much about this one!
Falco: No, nothing
A refreshed Chromebook lineup is long overdue. There are many who would love to see a Pixel refresh. There are reasons to believe that the Bolt, a Chromebook with touchscreen is the upcoming Pixel 2.
Google, I am waiting!
