Google announced today that Chromebooks are now available in Singapore. Or the way I see it, Chromebooks takes one more step towards me, here in India, because Singapore is the second Asian market for Chromebooks (first was Malaysia)
The Samsung and HP Chromebooks are both priced at S$449 (US$356.07), while Acer’s is priced at S$369 (US$292.56)
Google is bringing Chromebooks to Singapore through Court’s distribution network. “Now Singaporeans can enjoy the Chromebook experience with the launch of the Samsung, Acer and HP Chromebooks. Available from Courts stores across Singapore. ” Google’s post on G+ said.
I like it very much when there is news about Chromebooks entering a new country. For me, it is like Chromebooks taking steps towards me, as I said. The excitement has reduced slightly because I now have a Chromebook my own (couldn’t wait for Google or Samsung to bring them here!)
Which country is next? Any guesses?
