Chrome for Android Won’t Work on Motorola RAZR i For Now

Google has Motorola and Android with them, but hey, you can install Chrome for Android on the new Motorola RAZR i until they release a fix.

Turns out, Chrome is not optimized for the Intel processor that this new phone has inside. Google Play allowed the Intel-powered phone to download Chrome, but promptly displayed a “package file is invalid” error upon installation, says androidcentral.

Android Central contacted Motorola for clarification on this and got this response.

There is not a version available that is optimised for Intel. We expect it at in-store launch or shortly thereafter.

So if you got a Motorola RAZR i recently, you will need to wait for some more time before getting Chrome installed on your phone.
