With Chrome Instant (Ã laÂ Google Instant), web pages that you frequently visit will begin loading as soon as you start typing the URL. (â€œLook, Mom – no enter key!â€). If supported by your default search engine, search results appear instantly as you type queries in theÂ omnibox. To try out Instant, youâ€™ll need toÂ enable it in the Basics tab of Chromeâ€™s options.
Lastly, theÂ Chrome Web Store is now open to all Chrome users in the United States. As part of this, weâ€™ve now added a link to the Chrome Web Store on the New Tab page, along with two sample apps. (If you donâ€™t use these sample apps, they will automatically disappear after some time).
There was a beta and dev channel update to this week. Canary has been pushed to version 11, but Chrome Dev build is still on version 10. Chromium 11 landed few Â days back.
