Preview URLs in the new Twitter – The Extension

Here is a cool extension for anyone who wants have the cool URL preview feature that iPad has, on it’s twitter application. If there is a URL in a tweet on your timeline, click on the tweet, and this extension will show you a preview of the website that it has linked to.

You can use “p” to view a fullscreen preview of the URL and navigate with the arrow keys if you have multiple URLs in a tweet. The developer has added a desktop notification feature too, for new tweets.

The Settings panel is accessible by clicking your username in the top right part of Twitter and then click on Extension Settings.
